How can I pause, fast forward and rewind streaming videos

Fast forward and rewind are not offered, which is no different than You Tube, one of the most popular video streaming sites in the world.
Like You Tube, Flow Player allows you to click on the video progress bar and slide to advance it to a later part of the video, or revers it to an earlier part, but technically that is not the same as a true fast forward or rewind.
If you download the videos and use a player, like Windows Media Player, there are options to fast forward and rewind. The reason these players can do it is there's no streaming over the internet taking place. The video needs to be saved on your computer to achieve the performance levels required to do these things.
